Serena Upadhyay is a finance professional in New York City with experience in venture capital and investment banking. Serena is currently an Associate at J.P. Morgan Chase on the Strategic Investments team, where she specializes in executing venture and growth equity investments in emerging technology and FinTech companies.

Before joining the Strategic Investments team, Serena worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at J.P. Morgan. In this role, she mainly focused on industrial technology mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions. Through this experience, she developed a deep understanding of the financial services industry and honed her analytical skills.

Serena's education includes a degree in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she graduated with honors in 2020. She grew up in Naperville, Illinois and her personal interests include traveling, music, fashion, and attempting to eat at every good restaurant in New York City.
